I love this place! The food is great! I have used them to cater events several times. The guests are never disappointed! Great food. Great service!

I have always enjoyed this restaurant. Years ago when they first opened we would take our family there a few times a month. Their food is delicious and the variety will meet everyone's tastes. Last night I enjoyed a fun night out with friends. The service is friendly, the walls are decorated nicely. The ambiance is casual and friendly. Great spot to enjoy a meal.

As my followers know I'm vegetarian and some might be surprised I made a stop at a BBQ pit. But--it's all about the sides! Before I get to that, it's worth noting that Guy Ferro likes this place and hey anyone that Pontiac names a car after must know food. Place was packed upon opening on a Saturday. Service good. Sides were awesome: Mac, Spanish rice, slaw, veggies, beans and rice pilafh (I don't know how to spell this and you know what I mean) All were excellent with the pilafh being the surprise winner! Saw grilled cheese on the menu will be back for this --and more sides !

I have two problems. The first is that it is raining. The second is that I have to finish the second half of a four hour movie. Delivery is the key! We ordered, for delivery, brisket and ribs! Well done!... Ok. So they are currently out of ribs (They smoke a limited quantity each day.) So we get two brisket orders instead. Tell me who will complain about brisket? If you want to get ribs, go early and often. The rest of us are stuck with *cough* mediocre brisket (It is absolutely not mediocre!) The best part, and I mean the very best part, is that the owner called us directly and offered an option! That, my friends is customer service! Weirdly, we got two full racks of ribs! Will I order again? Absolutely! So, I was cleaning up... I missed an entire 1/2 pound of brisket! Shame on me! I now have dinner tomorrow as well! Lessoned learned: you will always get more than you pay for here!

My meat was tender in every bite. The fries had sugar on them which I didn't love. It was easy to order and find a seat, even on a Saturday night. It was perfect to sit and have a conversation. Delivery to our table was also way faster than we expected.

Always one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat! My wife and I had a great time sitting at the bar and enjoying conversations with the nice staff! We had the CHAR-burger with the side of Mac and cheese! Both were great! I know the Mac and cheese is good when my wife likes it too, she's very picky when it comes to Mac and cheese lol Can't wait to eat here again soon

The restaurant is a very chill and laid back environment. It makes it for an enjoyable eating experience. The people working here are friendly, and inviting. It was pretty busy when we walked in, and there were only a few tables left, which is always a good sign! The food was good, nothing super exciting. I got a chicken sandwich and my husband got a burger. I enjoyed my sandwich, the only thing I wish it would have not had on it was fatty pieces of chicken. I spent most of my time eating taking the fat pieces off. Their Mac and cheese has pretty good flavor, and I would definitely recommend getting that. All and all I would definitely come back here to eat, I would just probably get something different instead of the sandwich.

Tuesday's special is the pulled pork sandwich which has an ample serving of pulled pork with onion and Cole slaw on a soft bun. Fries are extra and worth it as they are seasoned and crispy. The beef brisket plate ordered with garlic bread, pickled vegetables and Mac n cheese was a great combination of delicious flavors. The service is friendly with reward taking our order and Eric bringing our food to the table and making sure we had everything we needed. Eric makes you feel like you are a guest in his home. The ambiance is friendly, open, spacious and clean with great pictures and decor. Note the poster sized picture of Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-ins and Dives episode review of Char B Que! Another delicious salad today. I need to come here more often. I had the pulled chicken today and it was totally delicious. They have everything dialed in here, from sauces in squirt bottles you can take to your table to lemon juice in a squirt bottle to add to iced tea or water or your drink. Lemon in Coke is delicious too. It's nice that these things are available...as are water glasses...without having to ask an employee. I appreciate this. If you find this review useful please vote!

It's been awhile since I've been here. They've made some changes and mostly good. They added a new menu board that's digital, more tables, and a few booths. They raised their prices, which I know every one has, but they made the portions smaller. My husband and I used to be able to share an entrée plate (tri tip, mac n cheese and house salad) and a chili, and be completely satisfied. This time we were a little disappointed. We will definitely be back as they have my favorite chili and the food is great. We will know what to expect next time. You order at the counter and bring your food to you. Also the BBQ sauces are warm and delicious!
